We recommend using Scrubbed by Charlie Societé to exfoliate and prepare the skin for an even, natural
looking tan.
Complete any hair removal 28-48 hours prior to tanning.
Apply to clean, dry skin free of moisturisers, deodorants & perfumes. Use sparingly on elbows, knees, hands & feet.
Allow tan to develop over an 8 hour period before showering. Once touch-dry, feel free to sleep in your tan if you want to as it won’t transfer onto your sheets.

AustraliaOkay so for context, I work in the beauty industry so I definitely have tried many tans over my life. I have also been on and off an acne medication for many years which makes my skin very very sensitive and I'm very fair (just think, the lightest shade of foundation is always my default when looking for new makeup). The Charlie Societe tan is literally the ONLY tan I've ever used that has not caused me to break out all over my back and legs in rashes (as my skin is so sensitive from the medication, every other tan I have used has triggered rashes all over my body). That gave me an overwhelming feeling of emotion and just speaks to the high-quality, hydrating and nourishing ingredients that are featured in this tan. You are paying for quality. The cherry on top is that there is definitely no overwhelming tan scent at all, especially not in comparison to other brands. I can still get a tiny bit of scent, but it's nothing compared to what I'm used to. ABSOLOUTELY NO TRANSFER ONTO MY CLOTHES OR SHEETS!!!!!!!!! I was shook. And the extra bonus is the shade. It was a beautiful golden shade on me (as I mentioned before that I am very fair, usually tans turn orange on me no matter what). The first day was a brighter gold, and then the following days after it turned into a lovely lowkey tan to which I recieved many compliments from my colleagues. The tanning mitt was also stunning. SUPER thick and lush. Extremely well made. Spread the tan so effortlessly without streaks. Felt super soft on my skin. Obsessed. Did not yet try the exfoliator (a crime, I know) so I cannot speak for that yet, but with how everything else performed so far, I have high expectations. Also bergamot and grapefruit are some of my favourite fragrance notes so we are already in the good books. I really think Charlie Societe has found a life-long customer in me. I seriously think I could potentially be buying this tanning range for the rest of eternity. Would like to see the range extend in future as the business (will undoubtably) grows, but for now still very excited about this tan! Thank you Charlie Societe!
